This site makes public claims about difficult questions, and it should be answerable for them in public. Substantive disagreement, skeptical questions, source-based criticism, and corrections are all welcome here, not tolerated as a formality. Moderation concerns conduct and relevance, not agreement.
Public participation
A GitHub account is required to submit an issue. Issues are public; do not include private or sensitive information in one.
- Ask a question
- Submit an objection
- Report an error
- Propose research collaboration
- Read existing discussions in the issue tracker
An objection or correction does not need to be gentle to be taken seriously; it needs a stated target, a stated argument, and where possible a primary source. See show us the strongest objections for what makes one inspectable.
Private contact
A dedicated private-contact route is not active yet. Please do not put private messages into public issues in the meantime. A form and any embedded discussion service will be introduced through the separate community/contact work package.
Participation standards
Be specific, cite sources when available, and address arguments rather than people. Spam, harassment, impersonation, malicious links, and disclosure of private information are not welcome. A serious challenge should retain a traceable link to any resulting correction or canonical review, rather than being quietly resolved off the record.
